EARLY MORNING FIRE IN WOODBINE

Fire officials in Woodbine are investigating a fire that struck just after 12:30 a.m. on Friday. NBC-40 reports that the fire damaged a two-story home at the corner of Cedar Avenue and Route 49. The report says local officials believe the fire started in the chimney, and spread to the walls near the fireplace. The fire was brought under control in about an hour and no injuries were reported. Officials are continuing their investigation.
