DWI CONVICTION OF FORMER DEPUTY MAYOR UPHELD

The former Deputy Mayor of Hamilton Township Charles Cain lost in court on Wednesday. The New Jersey State Appellate Division upheld the 2011 DWI arrest and conviction of Cain. Chief Stacy V. Tappeiner made a statement saying that Cain tried to discredit his officers on a local radio show and found that act “very disturbing,” and also “the court has found that the officers clearly acted professionally.”
