DWI ACCIDENT TEMPORARILY CLOSES ROUTE 40 IN HAMILTON TOWNSHIP

An alleged drunk driving traffic accident temporarily closed down a section of Route 40 in Hamilton Township early Monday morning.  Police there say a car driven by 29 year old Colby Reed of Mays Landing was heading eastbound on the highway when her car left the road, hit a pole, and flipped onto its roof.  Repairs at the crash scene are expected to last through the day Monday.
