DREDGING CONTRACT APPROVED FOR SOMERS POINT

A contract for construction of a new bayfront marina at the end of Higbee Avenue has been approved by the Somers Point City Council. Funding for the project will be aided by a $1.45 million National Boating Infrastructure grant. Plans call for a new marina with 20 transient boat slips, plus slips for emergency vessels and tour boats.
