DRBA CONSIDERING RENEWABLE ENERGY OPTIONS

The Delaware River and Bay Authority is looking at renewable energy. The bi-state agency is seeking information from qualified firms in the renewable industry on providing opportunities and strategies to implement cost effective renewable energy projects at DRBA facilities in New Jersey and Delaware. While the Authority is primarily interested in on-site renewable projects that will be privately owned and operated, with the Authority purchasing the electricity through a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA), the agency would consider other project arrangements depending on the renewable technology.
