DR. NANAVATI DROPS OUT OF FREEHOLDER RACE

A prominent heart doctor from Cape May County is giving up his political aspirations, for now.  Dr. Suketu Nanavati has decided to drop out of the race for one of two freeholder seats that are up for grabs in 2010 in Cape May County.  Bob Jackson, Nanavati’s running mate, confirmed to Coastal Broadcasting News this morning that Nanavati has dropped out of the race; Jackson is now searching for another running mate.  Democrats have not had an elected member of their party to the board since current State Senator Jeff Van Drew was elected more than a decade ago.
