DOZENS IN VINELAND STILL DISPLACED BY POSSIBLE AMMONIA LEAK

The threat of an ammonia leak is keeping 31 Vineland residents away from their homes until the problem is rectified. On Thursday seven houses near the South Jersey Ice and Cold Storage facility were evacuated when serious issues were found in their cooling system. The Environmental Protection Agency is assisting with the repairs but no leak has been detected so far. The displaced residents have been moved to hotels in Egg Harbor Township if they cannot stay with other family members.
