DOUBLE WHAMMY COMING FOR DRIVERS: GAS TAX AND HIGHER FUEL PRICES

It’s a double whammy for New Jersey drivers in the coming weeks.  A new 23-cent gas tax will go into effect, and gasoline prices are rising on their own regardless of the new tax.  The price for a gallon of fuel went up by four cents last week and could climb even higher this month.  The new gas tax ail go into effect on November 1st or two weeks after it is signed into law by Governor Christie.
