150px-NJOAG_svgThe Star-Ledger is reporting that stun gun laws are going to be less restrictive towards police officers. The new report says that more police officers will be able to use them and there will be more instances when they can be applied. Attorney General Paula Dow is getting prepared to announce the new rules. The idea would be to allow more police officers the option of using less than lethal weapons in the event a suspect has a weapon of his own, like scissors.
