DOG KILLED BY EXHAUST FUMES, NO CHARGES FILED

A dog in Toms River was killed back in April intentionally by fumes from a car exhaust, but no charges are being filed.  Authorities say they are extenuating circumstances that are leading them not to charge the individual who hooked up a tube to a car exhaust and euthanized a dog that was in a container.  A pending investigation is still underway in the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office.
