DEVELOPING STORY: MAN CLIMBS CAPE MAY COAST GUARD BASE TOWER

A developing situation is taking place at the United States Coast Guard base in Cape May.  An active duty Coast Guard individual has climbed up to a 130-foot platform on the water tower at the base.  The man is talking to authorities who is trying to talk him down.  The man climbed the tower on Thursday and continues to be there into the late afternoon hours.  The Coast Guard is not providing the name of the individual.
