DEVELOPING STORY: BOMB THREATS THROUGHOUT SOMERS POINT

Police in Somers Point spent the day on Saturday responding to a report of multiple bomb threats in the community.  Police received a call Saturday morning from an individual who claimed that there would be three explosions at three different sites in Somers Point.  Motels throughout the community were searched, along with Shore Memorial Hospital, and no explosives were found.  Somers Point Police say they continue to investigate the origin of the bogus 911 call that came in on Saturday.  Three motels in Somers Point were evacuated as a result of the bomb threat.
