DESPITE TORNADO WARNING, NO TWISTERS TOUCHED DOWN IN NEW JERSEY

Despite a tornado warning being issues for parts of southern New Jersey early this morning, no twisters actually touched down in the state.  Forecasters spotted some rotation in clouds before daybreak but the fierce line of thunderstorms did not bring any tornadoes to the region.  The warning was not issued for Cape May County, but was issued for parts of Burlington and Salem counties.
