DESIDERIO SWORN IN AS MAYOR OF SEA ISLE CITY BY LT. GOVERNOR

Wednesday at a special reorganization meeting in Sea Isle City, Mayor Leonard Desiderio was sworn in for another term in office by Lt. Governor Kim Guadagno. Also taking the oath of office were council members Frank Edwardi and William Kehner, who was sworn in by Dennis Township Mayor John Murphy. Desiderio thanked the members of City Council for their hard work in bringing the city back from the devastation of Hurricane Sandy in 2012. The mayor also thanked those who helped secure federal funding for the city’s beach replenishment program, that will replace two million cubic yards of sand on the Sea Isle City beaches.
