Democratic leaders in New Jersey say they will not touch with the pensions earned by public employees. Senate President Steve Sweeney talked about Governor Christie’s budget address with reporters and said he will not discuss any cutbacks to employees’ pensions. Democrats say they did enough three years ago when employees were forced to pay more for their health care and eliminated cost of living adjustments.
