DEMS: NO TRANSPORTATION FUNDING UNTIL CHRISTIE EXPLAINS

Democrats in the New Jersey legislature say they will not approval funding for important transportation projects in the state until republican Governor Chris Christie explains how he will pay for them.  Democrats want to learn how Christie will fund the state’s popular Transportation Trust Fund, which pays for road projects throughout the state.  Christie already announced he would stop a major tunnel project underneath of the Hudson River to save nearly $9 billion in funding.  The state is nearly out of money to pay for highway repairs, and fill potholes.
