DEMOCRATS RETAIN CONTROL OF NEW JERSEY LEGISLATURE

Even though the democrats lost one seat in our First District, they still hold a majority in both the New Jersey Senate and Assembly.  After all the votes were counted last night, democrats held a 22-16 majority in the Senate, and a 44-30 majority in the Assembly.  Locally, democrat Nelson Albano was ousted out of office by republican Sam Fiocchi.
