DEMOCRATS READY TO ENACT $15 MINIMUM WAGE, TAKES FIVE YEARS TO GET THERE

The minimum wage is going up to $15 an hour in New Jersey, but it will take until 2024 to get there.  Democratic leaders in Trenton say the wage will increase to $10 an hour on July 1st, and go up incrementally until the $15 an hour mark is achieved.  Governor Phil Murphy says the measure will help prevent people from living in poverty.
