DEMOCRATS GET WRITE IN CANDIDATE IN MIDDLE TOWNSHIP

Democrats in Middle Township will have a candidate. Sam Kelly has accepted the nomination to run for township committee. Kelly was written in during the primary election on Tuesday. Deputy Mayor Nate Doughty decided that he didn’t want to run for reelection this year. Steve Russell is running as an independent and Tim Donohue is the Republican representative. Kelly was a Democrat before switching to independent when he was president of the Taxpayer’s Association in the town. He will now be switched back over to a Democrat.
