DEMARZO TO QUIT AS COP, REMAINS WILDWOOD MAYOR

Wildwood Mayor Gary DeMarzo has decided to keep his elected office and resign as a member of the Wildwood Police Department.  DeMarzo attended the city commission meeting Wednesday night and told the audience that he wants to finish what he started, and he will resign as a member of the Wildwood Police Department.  DeMarzo’s hand to choose between the two positions was forced by Lt. Rich Adair, who filed suit in Superior Court, alleging DeMarzo did not follow a court order to pick one of the two jobs.  Judge Valerie Armstrong agreed with Adair and gave DeMarzo until Thursday at 4pm to choose which career he wanted.
