DEMARZO PLEADS NOT GUILTY TO MISCONDUCT CHARGES

Charges of official misconduct will go to trial. Wildwood Mayor Gary DeMarzo has plead not guilty. The indictment stems from charges that DeMarzo misused city money while paying his attorney for a case. DeMarzo hired Samuel Lashman to defend himself with former Mayor Ernie Troiano and former Commissioner William Davenport said there was a conflict of interest with DeMarzo serving on commission and being a police officer on a leave of absence.
