DEAL STRUCK: DEMS SAY THEY HAVE AGREED TO FUND TRANSPORTATION PROJECTS

It looks like a deal has been struck to resolve the funding crisis that has brought transportation projects to a halt in New Jersey.  Democratic leaders in Trenton announced they have reached a compromise agreement that will restore funding to the Transportation Trust Fund and allow essential projects to begin again.  These projects were shut down two weeks ago by the Christie administration since funding ran dry.  Part of the deal will be the elimination of the sales tax by one percent.
