DAVIES MURDER TRIAL NOW IN THE HANDS OF A JURY

A jury will now consider the fate of North Wildwood resident Robert Davies. Closing arguments took place Tuesday morning in Davies’ murder trial; now, the jury has the case and begins its deliberations. Davies is accused of murder in connection with the August, 2007 stabbing death of Lavern Paul Ritch in Margate. Davies’ attorney, Eric Shenkus, tried to show the court that his client acted in self defense. The jury gets final instructions Tuesday afternoon, then begins deliberations.
