CUMBERLAND MANOR QUARANTINED DUE TO VIRUS

The News of Cumberland County reports that the third floor of the Cumberland Manor Nursing Home is under quarantine due to a highly contagious norovirus. The report says 35 of the 55 residents on the third floor are infected with the nonlethal virus which causes abdominal cramps, vomiting, nausea and diarrhea. The Cumberland Manor staff is taking sanitizing precautions and sent four residents to the hospital for treatment.
