CUMBERLAND COUNTY OFFICIALS MOVE TO FIX ROADS FROM STORM DAMAGE

Cumberland County officials are making the push to get roads fixed from storm damage. A special meeting was held this week where a bond ordinance was introduced. The county is looking to allociate just over $7 million towards to the project. The money is being moved around from other departments. A public hearing will be held in Oct. to approve the funds. County officials had estimated total damage over $20 million in a previous press release.
