CUMBERLAND COUNTY LIKELY TO FACE ANOTHER DEFICIT

Its going to another tough budget year in Cumberland County. That was the message of Freeholder Sam Fiocchi, who expects the county to come into the budget discussions at a deficit as it did the previous year. Fiocchi noted the large drop in rateables compared to Cumberland County’s overall base. He said that Cumberland County feels the impact more than Cape May County because Avalon and Stone Harbor have more rateables on their own than Cumberland County.
