CUMBERLAND COUNTY DISASTER RECOVERY CENTER TO CLOSE

The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and the New Jersey Office of Emergency Management (NJOEM) announced Monday that Disaster Recovery Centers (DRCs) are closing in Bergen, Cumberland, Monmouth, Morris, Somerset, and Union counties.

Recovery officials also announced that all other centers – those in Atlantic, Burlington, Essex, Gloucester, Passaic, and Middlesex counties – will no longer be open on Saturdays, starting the week of Oct. 31.

Hours at the DRCs are from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday. The deadline to file for disaster assistance in New Jersey is now Nov. 30.
