CRDA MOVES AHEAD WITH NEW BUDGET PLAN

A major player in Atlantic City is getting a big increase in its annual budget. A 30 percent increase was approved for the Casino Reinvestment Development Authority. Gov. Chris Christie has asked this group to oversee some of the tourism improvement plans the state has implemented for the resort. A tourism district is being established there where an increased police presence and other factors are being set into place to make it a more desirable area for visits by tourists.
