CRACKDOWN ON DRUNK DRIVING BEGINS FRIDAY

On Friday, local police departments will begin their partnership with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration in the Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over annual campaign. The program is an effort to stop drunk drivers and help save lives. From now until Labor Day, local law enforcement will show zero tolerance for drunk driving, with sobriety checkpoints and increased officers on the road, aimed at drastically reducing drunk driving on our nation’s roads.
