A court ruling upheld a move by the state legislature to end a health insurance program for legal resident aliens, according to the Star-Ledger. The state appellate said that the state will not be required to reinstate the FamilyCare program, which put about 12,000 people out of health insurance. The report says that six aliens brought the suit and were represented by the Center for Social Justice at Seton Hall University’s School of Law.
