COURT RULING UPHOLDS JUDGES NOT PAYING MORE FOR PENSION AND HEALTH BENEFITS

Another judge, another ruling against judges paying more for pension and health benefits. Gov. Chris Christie appealed the decision to a Superior Court but had his request shot down. Christie has called on a constitutional change to force judges to accept the pension and health benefit increase contribution, which all other state employees were subjected to. The earliest it could be voted on via a ballot question is in Nov. 2012.
