COURT RULING SAYS CERTAIN JUDGES EXEMPT FROM PENSION AND BENEFITS REFORM

A judge has ruled that judges are not required to pay more under the new pension and health benefits plan. The decision was handed down by Superior Court Assignment Judge Linda Feinberg. Gov. Chris Christie was critical of the decision and is expected to appeal the decision. Feinberg said that judge’s salaries for Superior Court and Supreme Court justices were safeguarded under the state’s Constitution.
