COURT RULES STATE’S GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS ARE NOT LEGAL

An appellate court has ruled that New Jersey’s graduation requirements are not legal.  The court ruled that the state cannot force students to pass two exams before graduating high school.  The new regulation will take effect at the end of this month.  Currently, the state offers two tests, Algebra I and English.
