Everyone agrees that the Cape May County Park and Zoo is a great tourist attraction, but how will it operate in the future? Cape May County Administrator Steve O’Connor told “In Depth with Denis Brown” on Fun 106.7 this Sunday that a study will take place to see how to better control the finances of the zoo. O’Connor says the zoo operates at a $2 million loss every year. Studies have been done in other departments in county government recently to better manage taxpayer funded departments.
