COUNTY LIBRARIES IN CUMBERLAND COULD CLOSE

A whole county library system could close in Cumberland County. Freeholders are going to vote there on Tuesday to layoff all of the workers in the county library system. If approved, this would be the first county library system in the state to close. The move would let go 17 workers and save $800,000. The money is needed to help balance the budget. Discussions have been going on in this community for months.
