COUNTY GETS GRANTS FOR BRIDGE WORK

The state of New Jersey announced some grant funding to repair bridges throughout the state, and two Cape May County bridges are each getting $1 million apiece.  The state announced that it’s providing $1 million grants to repair the Ocean Drive Bridge over Great Channel in Middle Township and Stone Harbor.  Another grant will result in railing improvements on the Corson’s Inlet Bridge in Upper Township.  Nearly $29 million in funding has been handed out by the state for bridge work.
