COUNTY FINDS SUCCESS WITH INTERNET VISITATION

More people used Internet visitation at the Cape May County Jail in May than people came in. Sheriff Gary Schaffer told Coastal Broadcasting that the newly introduced technology is quite successful and many other counties have inquired about it. The Internet visitation brings revenue into the county because people pay for the right, plus it cuts down on security risks of moving prisoners.
