COUNTY: EVEN WITH PENDING SHUTDOWN, OUR LOCAL BEACHES ARE OPEN

Cape May County is doing all it can to keep the word out that municipal beaches will be open even if there is a government shutdown.  The County issued a press release Friday reminding visitors that municipalities run local beaches, and they will stay open through the hot weekend even if the State of New Jersey fails to come to a new budget agreement.
