COUNTY CONFIRMS TOWNSEND’S INLET BRIDGE CLOSURE MONDAY, 4:00AM

The County has confirmed that the Townsend’s Inlet Bridge between Avalon and Sea Isle City will be closed Monday, at 4:00am.  The bridge is being closed for a months-long maintenance project that will result in seven spans being replaced on the southern side of the bridge.  New piling and pier caps will also be part of the project.  The bridge will open in May, 2019.
