COUNTY BUDGET TO BE INTRODUCED TUESDAY, INCREASE UNDER ONE CENT

A small tax increase is being proposed by the Cape May County Freeholders. Adminstrator Steven O’Connor told Coastal Broadcasting that the increase will be just under one cent.  The Cape May County Board of Chosen Freeholders will formally introduce the new 2012 county budget during its meeting Tuesday afternoon, January 24th.  After the budget is introduced, it will be placed on the county’s website.  A public hearing and potential final adoption of the budget will take place at the end of February.
