COUNTY BEGINS ROAD WORK IN SEA ISLE CITY

n90228627881_5342Road improvement projects are beginning this week in Sea Isle City. Resurfacing work is happening on Landis Ave. from JFK Blvd. to 54th St. Concrete gutter work is currently underway and the initial three block closure from JFK Boulevard to 44th Street will begin on April 12th. All work is expected to be completed by Memorial Day weekend. No sidewalk work will be performed as part of this project therefore access will be available to all businesses and residences within the work zone by means of the sidewalks. Parking for businesses and residences will be on the side streets. The total cost of the project is more than $750,000 and the contract was awarded to South State, Inc. in Bridgeton.
