CORRECTIONS OFFICIAL CHARGED WITH SMUGGLING DRUGS TO SOUTH WOODS PRISON

A senior corrections officer at South Woods State Prison has been charged with smuggling opioids and other drugs to inmates at the facility.  53 year old David Cade of Clayton has been charged with conspiracy, official misconduct, and other offenses.  Authorities allege that Cade conspired with an inmate in April to smuggle the drugs into the prison for profit.
