CONSTRUCTION ON AC EXPRESSWAY BEGINS ON MONDAY

100px-Sjta_logoTwo new high-speed Express E-ZPass lanes will be constructed at the Atlantic City Expressway’s Egg Harbor Toll Plaza (milepost 17) as the South Jersey Transportation Authority paves way to a smoother commute for its patrons this spring.

During construction some existing E-ZPass-only lanes will be closed; however, at least one dedicated   E-ZPass lane will remain open at all times in each direction. E-ZPass tag holders are advised to keep left and watch for signs directing them to the available lanes. E-ZPass will still be accepted in all open toll lanes. Work will begin on Monday, January 24, 2011 and end at project completion this spring. Travelers should not expect delays associated with construction.
