COMMERCIAL FISHING BOAT CATCHES FIRE NEAR CAPE MAY, CREW RESCUED

A commercial fishing boat caught fire about 16 miles southeast of Cape May Saturday morning.  The 75 foot vessel “Ocean Pearl” caught on fire around 10:30am on Saturday.  The crew abandoned ship in a life raft.  The men were all in survival suits and were rescued.  The boat remains adrift near the mouth of the Delaware Bay.
