COMMENT PERIOD ON VERIZON ISSUES EXTENDED UNTIL MONDAY

The New Jersey Board of Public Utilities has extended the comment period until Monday, for customer feedback on alleged poor land-line service by Verizon in rural areas of South Jersey. There was a request for statewide hearings by the BPU, made by several groups who attended the public hearings on August 4th in Estelle Manor. The Press of Atlantic City reports that the BPU did not commit to holding additional hearings, but said in a statement they would “evaluate all comments and documentation before deciding how to proceed.”
