COASTAL FLOOD WARNING ISSUED FOR CAPE MAY & ATLANTIC COUNTIES BY NWS

The National Weather Service has issued a Coastal Flood Warning for Cape May and Atlantic County’s barrier island communities until 2pm Monday afternoon.  High tide will generally occur between 7:00am and 9:00am Monday morning and travel could be difficult as minor to moderate coastal flooding is anticipated.  There could very well be another flood warning issued for Monday evening.  AccuWeather continues to track Hurricane Florence which is expected to directly impact the southern North Carolina coastline in about four days.
