COAST GUARD SHIP WON’T BE SUNK TUESDAY, ROUGH SEAS

A Coast Guard cutter that was made famous during the movie “The Perfect Storm” will not be sunk off the coast of Cape May as planned on Tuesday.  The “Tamaroa” will be sunk later this week or next due to rough seas.  It’s being intentionally sunk to be used as an artificial reef.
