coast_guardThe United States Coast Guard rescued four people from a capsized vessel near Point Pleasant on Saturday.  The Coast Guard says that it received a distress call over a hand held marine-based radio Saturday morning regarding a 17-foot pleasure craft that capsized about one mile off the coast of New Jersey.  The four men on the boat were rescued and checked out by local EMT’s.  The Coast Guard reminds all boaters to make sure they outfit their vessels with marine-based radios.
