COAST GUARD ARE SEARCHING 17-YEAR-OLD BOY

The Coast Guard and members of local agencies are searching for a 17-year-old boy in the Delaware River in the vicinity of Penny Pack Park here, Wednesday.

Coast Guard watchstanders at Sector Delaware Bay in Philadelphia received a call at 6:08 p.m. from a member of the Pennsylvania State Police reporting a boy was missing in the Delaware River near Penny Pack Park.

Two 25-foot Response Boat – Small crews from Coast Guard Station Philadelphia, an MH-65 Dolphin helicopter crew from Coast Guard Air Station Atlantic City, N.J., two New Jersey State Police boatcrews, a Pennsylvania State Police boatcrew and a Philadelphia Marine Police boatcrew are currently searching for the boy.
