CHRISTIE: WE ARE CLOSE ON ATLANTIC CITY DEAL

gov_christieA deal to give the state control over a tourism district in Atlantic City is close to being final. Gov. Chris Christie said the state is working out some final details, but he said they weren’t far off. Christie said that plan would dismantle the Atlantic City Convention and Visitors Authority. Democrats want to tie horse racing to this plan, but a study Christie commissioned suggested the state should get out of the horse racing business.
